2017年4月在老挝万象参加“亚洲百杰艺术展”并获特别突出贡献奖。

2018年1月作品参加在伊斯坦布尔举办的“中国书画世界走进土耳其交流展览”获得大奖。

2021年12月在中国书画领域取得的突出成就及建树由国内权威媒体重点推荐报道为“情系冬奥—重点推荐艺术家”。

2021年6月在书画艺术领域做出卓越贡献,取得优异的成就,经庆祝中国共产党诞辰100周年艺术名家重点推荐认定,特授予“2021建党百年·中国传世书画艺术名家突出贡献奖”。

2022年4月经中国人物报道国际组委会决定,特授予“全球当代最具影响力艺术家”荣誉称号。

2022年十月获中国书法终身成就奖。

Chen Xinfeng, from Sangyuan Village, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, uses the pen name Chen Ying, with the courtesy names Xuyuan and Guizhen, and the art name “The Ink Guest of Jincheng.” He is also the head of the Ronggu Zhujintang (the Hall of Merging Ancient and Casting Modern).He currently holds a Guiress World Record and has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Calligraphy.He is the Vice President of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute, a National Treasure Artist, the Vice Chairman of the International Federation of Literature and Art, and a National Senior Appraiser of Artworks. He has also been honored with the title of “People’s Artist” at the nationwide high-speed rail station art exhibition commemorating the 102nd anniversary of the founding of China’s High-Speed Rail.He has been recognized as a Cultural Brand Personality in China, is the Vice President of the Central Academy of Famous Artists, and serves as the Chief Expert at the National Art Title Evaluation Center for the Appraisal and Pricing of National-Level Artists.He is a guest professor on CCTV’s Art Masters program and a lifelong art consultant. He also serves as the Art Director of the China Radio and TV International Cultural Exchange Center.He is a member of Yachang Art and has his work included in Yachang Art Encyclopedia. He has been named one of China’s Top Ten Influential Artists and is featured on the CCTV Huaxia Voice website.In April 2023, he was recognized by the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Recording Project as a “Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor of Outstanding Traditional Culture in Contemporary Chinese Cursive Calligraphy.”He has been appointed as a Cultural Ambassador for the New Era of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage and is a National First-Class Calligrapher.He is a guest professor in the Calligraphy Department at the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University and the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Exchange Center.He is a member of the Chairman’s Panel at the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Industry Base and a member of the Party History Education Committee of the Chinese Red Culture Research Association.He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a lifelong guest professor at the China People’s Art Network, and the Chairman of the Board at the Hongru Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Qufu, Shandong.He has been appointed a distinguished calligrapher stationed in Sydney by the China Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and he is featured as an art master in the China People’s Art Network’s directory of renowned artists.He serves as the Vice President of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Culture Association and is an expert member of the Chinese Culture Heritage Committee.

He is also an expert committee member of the China International Report Literature Research Society and the Chairman of the Hong Kong Professional Calligraphers and Painters Association.He is a member of the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, the Shaanxi Famous Artists Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and the Xi’an Calligraphers Association, as well as the Vice President of the Xianyang Branch of the Huanglou Calligraphy and Painting Society of the Shaanxi Provincial Government.

Awards

In April 2017, he participated in the “Top 100 Asian Art Exhibition” in Vientiane, Laos, and won the Special Outstanding Contribution Award.

In January 2018, his works were exhibited at the “Chinese Painting and Calligraphy World Exhibition in Turkey” held in Istanbul, where he received a grand prize.

In December 2021, due to his outstanding achievements in the field of Chinese painting and calligraphy, he was specially recommended by authoritative domestic media as a “Key Recommended Artist with a Heart for the Winter Olympics.”

In June 2021, for his remarkable contributions and outstanding achievements in the field of painting and calligraphy, he was specially awarded the “2021 Centennial of the Founding of the Party - Outstanding Contribution Award for Chinese Traditional Painting and Calligraphy Masters” in recognition of his work to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party.

In April 2022, the International Committee of China Character Reports awarded him the honorary title of “Most Influential Contemporary Artist in the World.”

In October 2022, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Calligraphy.

Major Achievements and Honors

In 2015, his works were included in the calligraphy history book Past and Present.

In 2017, he was included in the Directory of Contemporary World Art Masters in China series.

Also in 2017, his works were included in the collection The Rise of a Great Nation. In April of the same year, his work Jiangshan So Charming was collected by the National Level 1 Museum—the Yan’an Revolutionary Military Museum.

In 2019, his works were included in the China Art Yearbook.

In 2022, his works were included in the Directory of World Art Masters.

In 2023, his works were included in the collection Traveling the Great Way: A Gathering of Contemporary Art Masters.

In January 2014, the Giless World Record Global Review Committee awarded him the Chinese Calligrapher Lifetime Achievement Award.

On April 20, 2024, participated in the large-scale international calligraphy and painting exhibition, New Silk Road International Culture and Art Tour Exhibition, commemorating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France.

On July 20, 2024, won the Gold Award at a calligraphy and painting exhibition organized by the China Concern for the Next Generation Growth Cultural and Sports Association at the National Stadium; the artwork Du Fu Gazing at the Mountain won the Lanting Gold Award at the 6th Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in China.
